Default Things to do in Providence

Here are a few things going on in the capitol city of RI on Banquet weekend.

International Auto Show at the convention center, this is next door to the Westin and is a pretty good show.

Providence Bruins playing at the Dunkin Donuts Center Friday 7 pm. Walking distance from the Westin.

At Trinity Rep (this is a play house) they are performing The Merchant of Venice.

Don't forget to check out the Imax Theater in the Providence Place Mall.

If you like to ice skate, there is the outdoor ice rink just across the street, they event rent skates.

There are some great places to eat also, if you can't find something downtown then just head up the street to Federal Hill and you'll find some of the best fine dining in New England.
