Default Ciro Mangione

I would be so remiss not to mention the passing of Ciro Mangione, one of the mainstays on the 422 All Stars circuit. Ciro was a retired Lieutenant in the Newark, NJ Police Department and was one of the real class guys one could ever meet. He had been battling cancer for some time.

His 427 FE "BlackHawk" 63 4 speed Galaxie was quick, and beautiful, and Ciro could row that four speed.

God speed, Ciro. Please put in a good word for us.

I enjoyed watching Ciro at the 422 races, also. He showed no mercy on that big Ford and was on the rear wheels only more than all four. That car had to be making some big power as it ran in the 9s most every time I saw it. He shall be missed.
