I guess that those of us that thought we were competetive in C are in need of a little help. I'm thinkin we need AHFS to add about 80 to the factor for the DP cars or if someone knows how to get another 100 horse or so from an LT1; call me. I've been trying to go a little faster lately but Dempsy has me by a solid 6 tenths; probably more. Pretty pathetic.

Thumbs down #3 indy stock qualifyer

I just head that the # 5 qualifyer with a 2009 DP Challenger in C/SA was running over 300 lbs (345lbs to be exact) heavy each round ! One run was a 9.79 so that looks like about 9.50's or so.if he was at min. wt. !!
Do ya think the AHFS is doing its job......LOL. Gezzzzzzzz he could have won AA/SA with ease. By the way the source I heard this from was VERY reliable but wishes to remain unknown. Whats next form the almighty NHRA?

Terry, it was the #5 qualifier. That car would only have to be factored tree more times after today at 3.25% (326 HP) to get to the weight it was allegedly run at (3350lbs.). It would then end up at 359 HP and at 3200 lbs factory shipping weight plus ballast, could still be a C/SA. Probably a pretty decent combo with a little work, eh?
