Default Re: instructions

Pete made slightly different attachments depending on which housing used.

The components attached over the top left and right of axle housing need to fit correctly particularly the right. The radiused portion that sits on the axle tube on the right must be snug and not move there is a lot of force at that location.

Once those are installed you will need square tube trailing arms if not included. Would take a little research but believe it's QA1 who makes a good one.

Install brackets for the upper links and set them neutral.

Install the torque arm and adjust pinion angle to zero. Through this process the right side must be kept neutral.

A piece of rectangular tubing 2' x 4" or fabricate something similar should be permanently installed vertically (4" H) to a cross member and probably the floor too needs to be solid.

Adjust to zero pinion angle using the left side upper link, front of the torque arm should be against the top of the rectangular box this is where the box must be permanently installed. Torque arm cannot be solid mounted at the front must be able to move up and down inside the box. If the noise will bother you driving around the pits glue rubber to top and bottom inside the box. If the front of torque arm places the box in a bad location modify the front of the arm, this needs to be rigid it's seeing a lot of torque when the car stands up.

Scale the car with fluids and driver set the rear weights equal probably will need some preload on the right. Believe shorten the top bar to add preload.
Go to the track to test add or subtract preload on the right to get the car leaving straight.

You need decent double adjustable shocks on the back no cheap stuff.
When you get the car to leave you will find what ever shock you have on the front if it's not top of the line will need to be.
