Ya know sparky, I remember about a million years ago, an old buddy of mine having a bunch of 441 heads buried in his back yard. Whenever you had to "piss", you were told to "piss" on the buried heads. Why waste a perfectly good acid solution on breakfast cereal?

Silly me. I didn't know that that was legal. Why don't we just throw all the rules away?

OR just run it like the NMCA's Nostalgic muscle car class or the NSS classes with 1/4 second breaks( from 9.50 down to 15.00 same as the NMCA) and anything goes ! Dave Duell loves the NSS classes with his 1964 HEMI station wagon ! Pick your dial in on Saturday but you can not run under it at all. Not even .001 and NO throttle stops allowed1. No fuel checks, no weight checks, no tear downs, any cubic inches allowed, but they need to get the damn hood scoope rules straightened out. most are UGLY as poop looking and wrong for the car they are on. No two steps, no wheelie bars, no electronics of any kind except high RPM shut offs. ALL run fields. NMCA has a 1985 or older cut off but NHRA could allow their computerized fool injected garbage if they could figure out how to keep the guys from cheating with computer controlled dial ins.....LOL. Then again maybe NOT ! Put them in their own category ! There I just solved the cheating problem and it didn't cost NHRA a penny and you can still use your new cheated on stocker engines ! Just use them until they blow up and then start fresh with a cheaper combo to save more money..................LOL.

Sorry about that Frank....the last thread started over there was last month, before that was in May. I thought it might be relevant here.

Just brush up on your sandbag skills, as there are some good ones there that have part time jobs as hurricane contractors. John Kissel K242

Hey James, see what happens when you start to stir the pot amongst these naive class racers. They go from one subject to the next and the next thing you know you've got a circus going. All you had to do was write down the numbers, total them and divide them by the amount of entries. It is a very simple solution. You might have varied a little bit with the ***hole comment, but I can understand you wanted to add a little flair to it.

Knowing what it is like to have your combo hit by someone else, several times, especially courtesy of NHRA's brilliant decision on the 302 Fords, I have a couple of scenarios for you.

Make more money so you can buy more expensive parts for your combo.
Work harder instead of reading my posts.
Cheat, sort of bend the rules.
Put a bigger motor in it and change classes.
Put a smaller motor in it and change classes.
Call Glendora and have them make the change.
Put a hit on the person who hit your combo.
Run IHRA.
Paint your car red and install NO2, they will never notice the bottle.
Get a calculator and resubmit the numbers, you may have been off originally.
Go on Class Racer and seek solace from friends.
Contact your congressman and demand that they work for you.
Don't do anything and see how long it takes to blow up.
Calm down and take it in stride, it is only racing.
Request an investigation into the validity of the Chrondek system.

These are just some random thoughts to get you through this terrible situation. And if you ever line up against this person at a race, draw attention to their motor while your crew member deflates one of their slicks in the lanes.

Good luck James with your dilemma, and know that we all love you.

U/SA and the hits keep coming

Just carry extra weight or take some out to run dead on your number. No weight checks required and no grade points required either. Pay at the gate.
