Sorry to say that my father passed last night in his sleep

his advice to me as a teen ager was:

2 kinds of people "parts replacers" and mechanics, so be a mechanic.

so sorry to hear-when I lived in Columbus his Chesrown cars were among my favorites! My condolences

We are very sorry to hear about your dad. Mr. Garey was an incredibly tough racer. Growing up watching him compete and eventually getting to race with him, we learned a lot about "racing hard." We have wondered about him over the years and always hoped he would make a return to the sport. God Speed RG!

My deepest sympathies to your family. I fondly remember many National Trail races with the Chesrown Olds. Ron was an exceptional racer, God Speed.
