Ken Keir wheelie bar results
Ken's bar worked out quite well this fall. For anyone considering this purchase, you won't go wrong.

Garret, what happened to the stock hood? I think that hot rod would hook in a car wash

Re: Ken Keir wheelie bar results
Thanks. I still have it, I just got tired of running the car without an air cleaner. The suspension is working really well now.

Re: Ken Keir wheelie bar results
Where are the "wasted motion" naysayers anyway? Probably not many hanging out here at CR! Funny thing is, if I showed all the videos minus the timeslips many would choose the lowest wheelie as the quickest run. In fact, the quickest of that bunch of runs was the highest wheelie where the car pulled the tires past the 60 foot. Just listen to how happy the engine was on the 5.77

Are they faster than the two wheel set up?

Re: Ken Keir wheelie bar results
I can't answer that. This is the only bar I've run and it's works great. You can set it up nice and high so it's really only back there as a safety item. When the car comes up you can feel it going into the normal wheelie then once it starts getting to the peak it just stops climbing. The car also seems to go straight.
The best peace of mind and damage control item I've purchased since I started racing! No more smashed headers, etc. should I miss the shock tune up.

Man I miss KCIR and the good old F body shootout days. Those were some fun times! I can still remember you standing the gold 67 on the bumper with the 350 4-speed combo running mid 10's. That thing left like a beast!
