Viper SRT10 V10 engine management
Anyone care to share what system they are using in the V10 Drag pack. I am looking at putting a SRT10 in a 68 Cuda. Not for SS but just a fun project. I have the complete harness and fuse/relay setup as well as the computer but not sure what else is around. Fast and MSD both say they have nothing. How about it Jeff, care to share?

Re: Viper SRT10 V10 engine management
I think there are two. AEM and the Mopar unit that came on the V10DP cars. That would probably be the simple one, and there might be some new one's left. I assume no a/c. And there is a piggy back system, and we have one, but I would have to get details on that. This is a street car/street,strip or something like that. Also which v10?

Re: Viper SRT10 V10 engine management
Jeff
It is an SRT10 engine out of a 2005 truck. Has the automatic but I will be using a TurboAction 727. It is a strip only car. Putting it in the 10.5 Cuda Warren Barnett had built 11 years ago but was never run. Thought about just using the stock computer but this motor may see some changes as I play with it. Will a piggyback system use the stock computer and just override it? Thanks

I have the complete stock harness, computer and relay/fuse setup. I have the complete wiring schematic for it and can modify it to work but later if I was to up the HP I would have to get the computer flashed or go aftermarket. Just trying to find out what is out there.

Re: Viper SRT10 V10 engine management
AEM Infinity controller and Harness is the way to go. Programming is done and easy for them now. Dave Thomas and his record holding V10 car uses it. As does Barton's V10 engines and other cars. Devin with AEM is great as is the rest of their staff.
