Default Dragster vs door car advantages

Looking for some comments from drivers of both dragsters and door cars of the advantages or disadvantages of either running together in a no electronics, no tranny brake, no air/ electric shifter class.
Thanks

The track where we bracket race has two classes. Super pro and non electronics class. No one has run a dragster in the no electronics- foot brake only class before this year. But the rules allow it and it may be happening more.

So what I am asking is; what are the advantages if any to run a high hp -low weight pipe rack against the full body cars. What I hear the most is the advantage at the finish line judging the stripe.

Will,
The advantage is always to have the quicker car and be "the chaser" instead of the one being chased. So if you've got a fast door car, it's the same as a fast dragster.

One concern would be your "high horsepower" dragster running too quick for the class. Now you've got to slow it down somehow without killing your reaction & 60 ft times. Drgasters are definitely easier to maintain and repair between rounds, but they all look the same...

Good luck

The obvious advantage a dragster has is much better vision.

Bottom line is once you leave the starting line its just like any other race but I think you will have some issues hitting the bottom bulb green with a dragster as it will make it dificult to find your spot on tree.
