Default Ice cold beer at Indy

I hope to get to Indy this year and race. I have not been in a few years and the last time there my friend was disappointed that our ice didn't keep his beer as cold as some of the others there. He told me our neighbors cooler had smoke coming from it and they had gloves on when reaching in for ice. So to get the beer he INTAKES that cold where in Indy can I get that type of ice? Thanks BP

Very interesting read. I'm a newbie to the Stocker world so I have been "lurking" around here and came across this. I work for an injection/blow molding company that manufactures REUSABLE ice packs. And...they make different temperature ice packs that you could adjust your beer that you are "intaking" (I see what you did there... )

here is a link. https://arctic-ice.com/

Take a look at Chillin Brew for a little cooler than Ice and Tundra for "dry ice" like temps. Beware...Tundra will freeze your beer!

This is NOT dry Ice. But it is a phase change material that works very well it freezing things.

I'm just home for lunch so check this sight out and I will be back later to discuss.

Later, CF

I will be worrying about you guys without me being there to supervise the beer temperature and quantities, but with good young guys like Charlie Bob all will prevail. I had two major breweries offered a plane ride it I would go, but I just have to recover a little more. I would ask all beer drinkers face South and take a pull for me. I will be thinking of all yall. Jeff Teuton

We are going to miss your technical expertise with the beer chiilling Mr. Jeff! Heck, until my conversation with you at Gainesville last year, I thought a “Shaker” was some Mopar thing.

Beer is a very serious subject to me. I have traveled the world over, to experience great beer.

Only American adjunct lagers, light lagers, and American malt liquors (semi-fermented rice water products marketed by mega-breweries as a potable liquid) need to be served ice cold, because they taste and smell so bad that ice cold is the only way they can be tolerated.

The very best beers (Imperial Stouts, Barleywines, Belgian Quadrupels, etc.) are served at room temperature.
