Talking Stock S/S Combo @ Pacific Raceways

I know I am early to inquire about this. There are 3 Combo races at Pacific Raceways (Division 6) this year. The 1st being on Saturday, June 9th. This is a week before the Division race at Mission. How many guys and gals will be there on Sat??????

The other 2 are July 28th and Aug. 25th. When I saw these on the schedule I was surprised. I had heard that there wouldn't be any this year - silly me.

I will be at the track for the 1st one for sure. I hope to see lots of my racing buddies and we can catch up on what has happened for all of us over the last few months. I have had a chance to talk with a couple of my buddies lately. I hope to see many friends at this race. Jim Devine bring ice cream, please.

Hopefully we will have a good turn out i know alot of guys dont want to hurt there stuff before the double header at mission, no time to fix it. Dont know if Jimmy will be back in the drivers seat by then.

I know the timing of this 1st event is very close to the Mission Double. I am sure that will keep several racers away. Let's hope several people need some seat time before Mission and will come out and have a great time.

I had heard that Jim was in an accident a while ago. I assume that he is doing as well as can be expected..

Good to hear from you Jim. I saw Brian Thompson at Bremerton on the 6th of May and Pat Brooks at Monroe Swap Meet last Saturday. I am doing as good as I can considering what I have been through these last few months. Looking forward to having some fun and great conversations with whoever shows up for this event. See you on the 9th.

Bad news, guys. The last time I was out at Bremerton, Seaburg had a new T/SA Mustang out. 78 or something like that. He also had his C/SA 428 Mustang out of the hanger for once.

I'm still a bracket racer unless something awesome happens at the National Open. I'll be on the lot somewhere.

I've seen Jim walking around the pits at Renegade, he looked like his old self. The newspaper said that he had a sore back and neck, right after the wreck.

Does anyone have the qualifying sheets from the Bremerton National Open? I only had the ladder, and Nitro Joe Jackson is hoping to get that info.

Any help would be great!

Thank you,

Cody Lane

Dave, thanks for the update on Jim. I have talked with a couple of people about Jim's accident. Sounds like he was very lucky.
