Will make many racers furious, but look how NFL enforces rules.

Actually may be the best thing for NHRA management, drive all the sportsman racers away and just have the PRO's to deal with.

Problem, Where will all sportsman racers race?.
IHRA,locally, independently etc Plenty of other options....

I just came across this on Facebook. And I have not seen it here so I thought I would forward it along for anybody interested.

Strange Engineering will continue its NHRA National Axle (Pro Race and Alloy) contingency program through NHRA for 2015.

Pulling out this year would not have been fair to the Hyatt racing trailer (which transports our displays and service products to all NHRA national events) to replace our spot on such short notice. The Hyatt’s have been very loyal to us, so we wanted to ensure they had ample time for a replacement. We will not be on the midway in 2016 and will review, towards the end of the year, if NHRA has made enough changes to give its contingency program a better value. To be absolutely clear – we WILL have a contingency/reward program(s) for our customer’s that race NHRA- no matter what we decide – Jeff Stange

I agree with Tim. PLUS, it's pretty hard to see a sticker on a car moving at 180 mph vs. a car sitting at the starting line staging.

We were discussing this the other day and a couple of thoughts

1 How many parts are sold because Strange is on the Contingency list?
2 How many racers recommend Strange to Non Nhra racers because of Strange Contingency?
3 What does it cost for NHRA to handle the contingency program processing 24 nationals and 40 LODRS events?

The contingency list is advertising, if it cost $13K for strange to be in the program how else would strange spend this advertising money?
1/2 page ad in my local paper is $600 each time

I do not know the policies, but some things to think about.
