Stolen Race car
Just read on Facebook that Lindy Lindholm had his trailer stolen with his 74 I/SA Firebird
in it. Stolen out of Anaheim CA. Hope they find Lindy's car and get it back to him and the people who are responsible brought to justice.

Re: Stolen Race car
Attention racers, this week alone there have been TWO race car trailers and Lindy s race car and trailer stolen....Be proactive, a trailer GPS is a good tool to prevent disaster.....

Re: Stolen Race car
Well that absolutely rots... I just raced Lindy and his Firebird @ Sonoma earlier this Summer. Hope it gets back to him!!!
Would be real interested in hearing recommendations and experiences from those racers employing trailer GPS solutions... Pete

Re: Stolen Race car
I've been looking to get a trailer gps, along with a gps tracker for a classic street car, anyone have any recommendations? There are so many out there with such a range in prices I don't even know which ones are good.

Re: Stolen Race car
I've been using an Optimus tracker for years. A very simple device that will run off its battery for a weekend at the track or can be hard-wired. Cheapest subscription I've found at $19.95/month.

Nothing to offer. Just want to bump to the top. Thieves (and liars), nothing worse.

Re: Stolen Race car
Oh man.....having had this happen to me I know exactly how this feels. It’s like losing a member of the family - and you run the entire spectrum of emotions from anger, grief, disbelief, more anger, more grief etc. In my case I found out who did it, but was unable to recover the car mostly due to apathy on the part of the police departments who were in a position to help.
It’s been almost 5 years now since my Camaro was stolen....and I’m still not over it. I’ll say some prayers that Lindy has a better outcome than I did. This sucks!!!! |
