Default Mopar "A" engine lifters for Stock

What is legal now in Stock for lifters, and what are you Mopar guys using?

Tool steel? Coated, yes no? How about oil holes, yes no? I want something that will work with Stocker cam profile and spring pressure

Thanks for the help!
Tom

I am probably one of the few still running Smith Ceramic low travel hyds.

Getting harder to find all the time!

I just bought a set of solids from Barton. These are un-coated tool steel lifters made for him by Trend. Using them on a cast iron cam. Sorry, these are for a BB

Big and Small Mopars have the same .904 lifter.

Larry: I will buy all I can get.......At least the few that the bottoms have not fallen
out of yet or shattered: Generally destroying the engine along with the darn lifters
h
Yes = my kids think I am Nuts....But I use the Hyds with healthy preload and check them a LOT!

I take it solid lifters are now legal for Stock?? You don't need to use the low movement anymore? Can you safely use tool steel lifters on cast camshaft??

Talk to PPP lifters. They have a special coating designed for running a tool steel lifter on a cast cam.
