Battery Charger
I've had another Optima Digital 1200 crap out on me. Any good made in USA chargers out there? 12v or 12v/16v. What are you guys using?

Re: Battery Charger
I've been using a Schumacher for forever. No issues. I even ran over it with my race car a few years ago and broke the handle off, sumbich still charges no problem. Allegedly drug it to the staging lanes once too.

Re: Battery Charger
The best made in the USA charger bar none is made by Interacter
http://interacter.com/products/road-...ries-overview/ and sold by them, Moroso and Rock, I have two. Last edited by 1320racer; 08-20-2024 at 11:21 AM. |

I purchased a new charger a few years ago but it died in 12 months so I just went back to the old one.

Versions of these for years and they are awesome! I like that they can go 12 or 16 volts as well

The other made in the USA battery charger with a great reputation is Associated though they manufacture mostly wheeled chargers, but they do have three "portable" non wheeled chargers. https://associatedequip.com/ Last edited by 1320racer; 08-20-2024 at 03:23 PM. |

Re: Battery Charger
I've been using a Scumacher, actually a Sears, for many years. It has made the trip to the staging lanes with no problems. It's fully manual bare bones.

Re: Battery Charger
Thank you. I don't think Schumacher is made in USA anymore unless I found a 20 year old version on marketplace. Amazing my dad's Sears charger from the '70s still works too. I am looking into Interacter.
