Good stuff there, Moose.........If you want to go back a little further, go to Youtube and type in this one: Ingenuity in Action (1959) NHRA Hot Rod Film
A half hour flick that chronicles a group of Californians and their experience at the U.S. Nationals in Detroit. Theres some familiar faces, some famous and some not, but likely known to some old timers on here.
Its also an entertaining look at travel on the road in late '50s America. Check it out.
