I see NHRA has a note about cams and lifters. on side board, I tried clicking on it, brings up a blank page. like to know if there is a change.thks

They are Re-affirming that the cam has to have a stock journal size.

Pretty tough thing to verify in a normal tear down. Pulling the cam in some of these cars is no small deal.

Can't they just pull the cover and chain or belt off and measure the journal?

Leave the front journal small and put it in from the back.

Now you done it! Teardown will include looking at the back of the cam. But I'm sure the specs they have will be bogus anyway.
