Default Live from Orlando

We made the short trip over to the track yesterday with a lot of work to do (change oil, run the valves, change plugs, etc ). After completing the maintenance it was off for some runs. As you may know I changed over to a PG transmission from a C-4 at the end of last year. Well there's quit a difference in the car between the two trans (as expected). Over all the car is about a 10th slower with the glide but I think it is going to be a better race car. Making my first run with just a guess on the numbers it goes11.02 (not too hateful). After making a correction the second run it goes 10.900. I sure hope this is a sign of thinks to come. So its off to the races we'll see how things go from here. There's a good number of cars here, the run schedule for today I believe is for 3 time runs but with a chance of rain that may change. Photos to come

Robbie - when I changed from the C4 to a glide mine slowed a bit more than yours, but it WAS more consistant and repeated better. By the way, if and when you see "Hollywood" tell him the polock in Connecticut said "Hi".

PG is working out for you! Pick up any MPH?

You two enjoy it down there, snowing again here today and schools closed early but predicting 65 next week. Weatherman can barely tell you what it was yesterday.

We got our 3 time runs today and it was a beautiful day today no rain and temps in the 70s. The Da was around 1500 ft and the track was working well. To answer some questions. Lenny were not on alky right now but I have the alky carb and plan on doing a test with it later I'll post the results. Dave can't really say I picked up any MPH best C-4 run was 9.65 134.74mph 1/8 mile 110.43mph I did go 135.33 mph on another run. Best PG run so far 9.78 134.82mph 1/8mile 110.51mph (go figure).Ken what car is your bothers? Dave R. thanks see ya up north. We go right in to eliminations tomorrow there's a 50% chance of rain. Thanks for all the replies. Here's some photos from todays action.
