We always have a great time at this track. Even with the rainouts, at the S/SS races we still enjoyed ourselves. Everyone is real nice. We had a good time at LODS race, and got to see some people I had not seen for a few years. Thanks to LV Dragway, and the towns people.

Re: Live from Lebanon Valley,NY - NHRA D1 Lucas Oil Race #2
I just read that NY State revoked the liquor license at Lebanon Valley because they were going to have a fireworks show and spectators at the dirt track I assume......They came down hard on them even though they may have cancelled the show. I do not know exactly what took place there.
I was not there but know that's a big draw there and they do put on a great show usually...... Nothing wrong with a night watching a short track on the dirt....well except for all the dirt you eat !!!

The oval race went on without spectators or fireworks.

Re: Live from Lebanon Valley,NY - NHRA D1 Lucas Oil Race #2
From what Alan Reinhart said on WFO radio yesterday the Health department came in, looked at the oval track and the bar and said no way you can have that amount of people in a small enclosed area and shut it down, Howard said that he's already got racers traveling from all over and it wouldn't be right to shut them down hours before they're supposed to race to he footed the purse for the dirt car guys and let them race, they then went over to the drag strip and said everyone was properly in clusters of xxx amount of people or less and wearing masks and were spread out on the stands, so they allowed that to go on and not shut it down.
