I am assuming superstock or Comp rules here:

Jerico- pros- you can find a used non clutchless fairly cheap
Lightweight compared to others
Cons- limit to hp and weight it can handle over time
They only made one hybrid four speed clutchless with a one piece slider- not sure if they still do.
Run away from any split slider clutchless they have. Too many problems with that.

Liberty pros-great transmission built for well over 1000 hp in any of their versions
A lot of ratios to choose from
Very easy to service
Good support from the company when I needed parts.
Cons- fair amount of money to buy new (but still a good value)
There are many older versions with welded clusters and different lug versions three vs five. They all, work, but changing ratios is more involved
A lot of used ones have gearing for big motor light car sets ups so changing ratios can be pricey so consider that in price vs new
I will say, this is a very very good and fun transmission. If you can run one, do it. Just try and find one that has the newer five lugs and snap rings holding gears on clusters

Lenco- never used one. Pros- they look cool but I hear they take more power to turn and parts can be tough to find

Gforce- pros- lots of versions out there.durable,
Good support
They make clutch assisted 4and 5 speeds that are strong
They make a split slider and a one piece slider version of clutchless
Cons- not many.
Some are heavy
I would go for the one piece slider if going clutchless more reliable

John Mihovetz, who owns Accufab purchased Lenco several years ago, I saw a shop tour video , he had updated many parts, and had inventory, I think he had also updated the transmissions.

Lenco's have a high amount of parasitic power loss.
Known of people losing 40 to 50 horsepower at the wheels on roller dyno when they switched to a Lenco.

By the way, I forgot the last time I saw a Lenco transmission in a Pro Stock or Comp car.

When I was putting together a basic stocker 68 Camaro 8 years ago, I asked Rob Youngblood and John Calvert what 4- speed I should run. Both said G-force,which was good enough for me. I had also talked with others and most also said the same thing. As others have mentioned, I found them reliable, very easy to service and I have always, always had good support from G- Force.

Keep in mind that G Force offers several different transmissions, both in clutch assist and clutchless versions. After 20 years of running Jerico DR4s, I reluctantly switched over to a G Force G101A clutch assist 4 speed last year, after Jerico stopped making many new parts for the DR4. Supposedly they reversed this decision shortly after I sold both my old Jericos, and started offering replacement parts for the DR4s again. Having used both transmissions, I feel that each of these transmissions have positive and negative points, heres my take; Jerico Dr4 is lighter, and more "universal" , fitment wise. The Jerico came with 4 different trans mount configurations, and has 2 rows of shifter mounting holes on the tailhousing, about 1" between holes. So you can typically use a factory style trans mount, whether you have a Ford, GM or MoPar . Both my Jericos were top and bottom cover cases , which makes for easier sevicing and repair. By comparison, my G101A GForce has one trans mount (GM style), and one shifter mount position. So if the shifter is not where you would like it, you need to order a different mounting plate to put the shifter where you want it. The 101A main case is taller, on my car, the top of the case almost touched the trans tunnel. Being a side cover trans makes the G Force transmission not as easy to work on, as does the "handcuff" which helps to prevent the mainshaft from spreading away from the cluster. I found both GForce and Jerico good to deal with for buying parts, at least until Jerico decided to discontinue offering replacement parts, which I understand they have reversed. Oddly, Jerico required prepayment for parts, (no credit card acceptance), no such issues with G Force. I believe that with the DR4 and G101A, that the GForce has more strength, although I found my DR4s pretty durable at my performance levels (low 10, high 9 second 1/4 mile). Much faster and I would think the G101A would be preferable. Both transmissions shifted well, although I do prefer the Long Pistol Grip shifter on my G Force over the older Vertical Gate I used with the Jericos.
