Default Live from VMP

Well not quite but close. After a dismal race at Galot we spent some time with family enjoying that famous southern hospitality and(eating way to much) but now it's time to head north. We've been on the road about two months and what an adventure it's been, with issues with the coach race car and trailer so I guess its been a pretty normal trip. We got to see friends (and meet new ones) we only see at the tracks and areas we go too and that's what this is really all about. So here we go again trying to find that elusive win light. If you see us at the track stop by and say hello, we love meeting and making new friends and you never know. Ms Teresa may just have one of her famous deserts ready for a sample.

I found my happy spot. If this were mine I wouldn't leave the porch.

Except to start fire in the fire place. This farm was unbelievable.

We love the old style southern homes.

This was the most unusual site we saw in are travels. It has something to do with a land dispute and this display was hauled all over the county in response to the bad deal.

Robbie,

Great pics as always, love seeing the off beaten path of some of the country and glad your enjoying the trip. Good Luck down in VMP, I have to stay home and make the doughnuts.

While I'm posting I just want everyone to keep NHRA D1 Super Street Racer Frank Grillo in their prayers this weekend. Frank passed away suddenly yesterday. So please keep Jean, Matt and his family in your prayers.

Well our VMP race has ended even before it started. On the first pass of the TnT I broke an axle (what a fitting end to a tuff road trip). I'm already home trying to recover from all the beating we took. Good luck to all we'll see ya at the next race. If anyone wants to post photos feel free to do it here.

Keith and Dave thanks we will come back better. It could of been much worse. If the wind hadn't been blowing 20 mph I probably would of made the pass off the stop and who knows what may have happened. As it was the throttle stop hit just after the axle broke and the car never made a move.
