After session #2 Rob Youngblood has qualified #3 and has run a 10.58 actual. That equates to an adjusted 10.06 against the current SS/J record of:

SS/J 10.46 127.92 10/09/06 Robert Utsler - Tomball, TX
'65 Chevy Baytown, TX

That's a .400 improvement in SS/J, hope Rob makes it all official!

The car count is usually low due to the location of Fallon ! It's about 60 miles east of Reno at the extreme edge of civilization and few places to stay unless you want to travel to Sparks or Reno.
Last year there were 33 Stockers but this year only 21. Last year in Super Stock there were 19 cars and this year 19 cars.
I'm surprised they keep the race there because of the location and low population in the area. Can't be many spectators, but it is the only show in town !! :-)
Maybe they should move the race back to Sacramento....:-) If Dave Smith would fix the place up.....

Last year there were 40 cars total in stock and super stock, this year 50 cars.

Only 2 comp cars this year compared to 4 last year. The problem is you can hit your adjusted index now.

Looks like they need a new venue to replace Fallon.
