Haven't visited a local track lately, I felt really old !!!!
Thought I'd do a little test and tune this past weekend at a track not too far away. As soon as I arrived and until I left, I felt like I was on the live movie set of Mel Gibson and Road Warrior. I had to ask someone if the clocks were broken and they explained to me why "NT" was written on the back windows. The staging lanes were every man for himself. Every other car seamed to blow up or give up. I have never been so happy to get rained out sitting in the staging lanes. I took my 70 year old *** to the house. I hope this isn't the current culture or mindset of our sport. Really depressing.

Pretty sure you can thank "Street Outlaws" for this type of crap. Between constant oildowns and broken parts, due to "gotta have power adder(s)", and crashes due to poor car prep, "No prep" tracks and over powered, under tired cars, plus a 8 man "crew" for your "street car", to hold your car in the burnout, open and close the doors to let the smoke out of the interior, show you where the starting line is, and line you up in the "no prep" zone, it has been turned into a bit of a circus sideshow. Frankly, I have to wonder with all these shenanigans, and 75 people standing around the starting line, if these tracks even have insurance, and if it would be valid if the insurance companies were aware of how these events are being operated.

Quit complaining, they're keeping the lights on.

I wouldn't count on it .......plus who needs the lights on with this kind of racing......but it does eliminate the overhead to clean the track and have people attend that hold their pants up and only speak four letter words in their vocabulary ........but I'm not so old to mistake S**T when I smell it either.

Yes they are, I don’t like it anymore than you do but here at Cecil county they got rid of bracket racing and just do this test and tune on Friday nights
It packs the house, they buy his food, they pay the entry, bring in extra people, there is no payout whatsoever not much track prep and above all no complaints like having to deal with us crybabies!

Wheeeeeew thanks guys for all the warning……maybe the “big buck entry” test and tunes will help like Rockingham is doing this weekend.
