NHRA National Event Purse
Can someone show/tell me where I can find the National event purse payout. I have not seen one printed or online in a few years now.

Re: NHRA National Event Purse
FAKE NEWS. The advertised purse is based on 128 car field. When you only allow 60 cars the total payout drops to less than $7,000. I don’t know what the entry is but the actual payout looks terrible.

Look in a National Dragster from the 90`s, pretty much the same.

Re: NHRA National Event Purse
Thanks Joe
This is the point I was trying to make how can NHRA advertise payouts based on 128 car fields when they limit the car counts to less then 64. False advertising INDY is the only race of the NHRA Mello Yellow event schedule that comes close to 128 cars fields. I did the math on The Winternationls last week and for STK and SS. NHRA took in (109 paying entry's out of 121 total entry's )$35520 in just entry fees (no crew tickets) from races and only paid out only $14,800 in purse money total for STK & SS, when there claiming somewhere near $27,600 purse money total . I'm not real good at math but that's missing your protection by around 50%. The payout system is also based on a 7 round race which NHRA limits the car count so that can never be attained.

Re: NHRA National Event Purse
A National Event was $200 I believe and included a crew pass. If you didn`t need the crew pass they would buy it back at the registration trailer for $50.

Re: NHRA National Event Purse
Charlie don’t forget $100 + of the $340 goes to insurance
For the helicopter in case one of the Pros need it Nhra doesn’t count that part of our entry fee. And unlike the pros I gotta pay for my crew. +$85. Enhancements are rough
