Re: Pillar gauge pod allowed in n/sa foxbody ???
Have you spoken to Ryck Campbell, the Div #1 Tech Director? His number is 315-335-8295 on Monday and Thursday evenings from 7-9 PM. He's a good guy and should be able to help you answer your question. Just speaking for myself here, but I've seen a lot of folks mount their tach's on the A-pillar with no complaints from anyone!
Good Luck!

It should not be a problem. We are allowed to use a digital dash. Mine is a DataMaxx and is mounted in front of the original gauge cluster. It's cheaper in the long run than multiple gauges, that in an a-pillar may not be big enough to see. Just a thought. What year car are you running?

Re: Pillar gauge pod allowed in n/sa foxbody ???
As far as seeing them, they make the gauge pods for 2 5/8 gauges, and it's a great location! I have ran them in several cars, but unfortunately none were stock eliminators cars, so can't answer the question on if it's legal. With that being said, I can't imagine why it would be an issue, not really any different than mounting them anywhere else in the interior as far as modifications are concerned.

As long as you keep the original OEM full stock dashboard, including OEM instruments, fresh-air ducts and controls, you can add any other gauges such as tach, oil pressure, etc.. in any location inside the car.

Re: Pillar gauge pod allowed in n/sa foxbody ???
Are the gauge pods custom fit to a particular vehicle or are they one size fits all? My driver which is a Buick has no gauges at all just idiot lights. I would like at a minimum to put in at least a temperature and oil pressure gauge. A pod would be nice because I am limited as to where I can mount them.
