Ed, I am not going to enter this battle of nonsense, but I am going to
tell you that Barry Parker is a very intelligent, talented, Class Racer.
I hope before I quit racing, which might be soon if I use your age
scale, that I know half of what he knows about building and running a
Stocker. Everyone of us that run S/SS hold him, Billy, and others
in very high regard. Not a popular place to try to insult either one.
Congrats to your son on his good season. Congrats to Barry & Billy
for being the people they are.

I just looked at this from page 1 to this end and all I can say is
That is time I will never get back!"
Good day?

Bonus is if I attend all my divisions events and accumulate more round wins than my competitors, I get a big Wally, a gold card and more $. So tell me again how the NHRA is crapping on me.

Billy, I didn’t attack you or anyone else, I didn’t call you a hillbilly who’s dime box builds are ****boxes nor did I highlight that you have been racing forever and haven’t really done anything. No, I mearly stated my opinion and I stand by it regardless of who here disagrees.

As to the Copo, the difference between you hand me is I have the $130k to buy it, the reason I didn’t is because my son wasn’t interested in running stock eliminator and neither am I. If I was, would have done it long ago with my former Chevelle.

That said, this is Ken’s forum not yours, I trust him to decide if my comments and responses to some personal jabs toward me are out of line

again Billy unlike YOU, I ain't attacked anyone and Ken hasn't contacted me so I haven't crossed any line either. Wounded egos don't count.

That said, I stated my opinion as well as facts about some that have posted here and the other threads.
More important, I don't see one top 10 driver in stock posting in any of these threads complaining about the NHRA, the alledged problems and questioning the health of sportsman racing.

So tell me Billy how far down this years Stock Eliminator points list do I need to go to find those posting here complaining. Top 20? top 30? top 100?, top 300? tell me.

I guess attack is different in NJ than it is in the mid-west. A good thing you don't drink coffee with my group. No need to respond as I am out of here.

Yes, they are missing out on the "best-kept secret in entertainment" if they are into Car Shows! IMHO, probably one of the best darned Car Shows you could pay to see. And the cars owners are using them for the reason that they were built! Not to mention they can tell you every nut and bolt in it.

Oh, I've got some pretty cool stuff and I don't like pissing away my money.
Yac, are you pissing away your money again?
At the last LODRS in Charlotte a few years ago, there were no adds for the race on radio or TV, not even the Charlotte track website. I called the track for ticket and schedule info, I was told the event was a 'track rental' and they had no info. How do you get people in the stands that way????

If the tracks can’t make money then there’s going to be more closing to become insurance lots, condominiums, you name it.

if the tracks can't make money, that's on them not the NHRA. With the exception of alcohol cars, what we do is of little interest to the general public and hasn't been for at least 3 decades.
