The subframe is the original 67 stock frame and may be altered for oil pan removal . My 2015 rule book section 10A page 5 says crossmember maybe altered for oil pan removal . If altered, all material and strength must be replaced by boxing or installing removable or permanent material. And thanks our chassis guy does do awesome work !

The blue 68 Firebird is my son Todd's and getting updated to 25.5 certifications. He wants to run a 10.5 class hopefully this year with a 540 cu. in. motor and a Liberty 5 speed. I have some pics on my facebook page of his car under Vince Tosto.

Re: 1967 camaro A/S project
Got some more done today, complete front clip back together , subframe connectors in , new leaf springs in ,new caltracs put together , all new control arm bushings , new shafts installed with new tall upper and new lower ball joints, (thanks uncle Tony for putting the bushings and ball joints together without scratching the new powder coat lol) . Upper control arms installed. My dad will put some pics up soon . Next weekend try to put the new Moroso springs in without scratching everything up, and probably put the rearend housing in. That's all for now .

Everything looks immaculate. Be interested in the spring number and how much you end up cutting them in the end. I'm sure before long there will be a Rat in ours as well.

Re: 1967 camaro A/S project
Yeh Rich I went with the 47150 spring because it will be alum headed . We had the 47150 spring in the car with the small block with one coil cut off , so I'm hoping that the uncut 47150 is the ticket!
The bbc for me is a first , I hope it goes as well as planned.

Re: 1967 camaro A/S project
We used the same with 1-1/2 coils cut. Looked great for most of the season, but she's in the weeds now lol.
