If M rated suits your needs try Revzilla, by far the best customer service of any seller I've ever encountered...just hoping they will one day offer a M or SA rated modular helmet.

Picked up one of the new Impact 1320's and really like it. Reasonably priced and made in the USA!

Thumbs up Re: helmets

We bought new Simpson helmets for the third time and love them. They are one of the few companies that travel to National and other selected races to support the racer. Great service and a wide variety of products. What ever you do ,don't buy a cheap helmet.

I bought an HJC helmet this year. Nice helmet and good price. They have a XXL size that is Snell certified if you have a big head like I do and wear glasses. Lots of motorcycle shops sell that brand so you can actually try them on before the purchase for size and comfort.

I LOVE my HJC helmets! They are very reasonably priced, and I personally feel 10x more safe in my helmet than in my brother's Simpson Bandit. The saying is often true that you get what you pay for, but that doesn't mean there aren't good deals to be had or companies aren't charging a premium simply for their label.

I don't understand the attraction to the HJC and similar lines . They are an M helmet and not rated for use in a roll bar environment and no flame retardant lining. I see this on other forms and people spend enormous amounts of money on the car and buy a cheap helmet. The difference is less than $ 200 for the proper helmet.

I totally agree with this post. I have an HJC helmet and I tried on one of my friends Racequip helmets that was an SA helmet and there was no comparison in the fit and comfort of the two helmets. The quality of the liner in the HJC helmet was far superior to the Racequip. The only difference was the Racequip had the attachment points for a HANS device which I don't need. When I purchased my helmet the HJC was the only one that was large enough for my big head and my glasses. I tried on several different Bell helmets but they were way to tight.
