Default 1963 belvedere weight

Looked at the stocker specs and the weight for a 426 wedge all steel is 3604. Is that a good weight or a factory cookie?

Properly done you will need a weight box.

Just removing the stock exhaust system on a max wedge will remove, what a 150 pounds?

Long ago I had a daily driver that was a former 63 Plymouth max wedge car with a 440 and the stock max wedge exhaust system. I think it weighed about 3,600 but it was a long time ago.

Every one usually has a car they would like to have back and that one is mine.

Sounds about right. My '65 Coronet Hardtop street beater (440/727) is 3755 with me and a full tank of gas (19 gallons). That was on the scale at Cecil County.

I dont know how a 63 could weigh more than a 64, Stein's 64 was 3405 when I ran it.
