Default Synthetic Winch Rope Experance?

Thinking about changing from wire cable to synthetic winch rope. I have a Superwinch S3500 in my trailer.... Tell me if this is a good/bad move, and why? Any recommendations?
TIA

Default Re: Synthetic Winch Rope Experance?

From researching 4 wheel drive experience, it is a good idea. "No" momentum if it breaks, very strong and light, more flexible. Hawse fairlead is recommended over the roller type. If inside, uv degradation won't be a consideration.

Question Re: Synthetic Winch Rope Experance?

What is the cost differential between the rope and the cable? Jim
