Default Newbie Questions:

I've been looking at the different possibilites in building a car. The Stk/SS idea didn't pan out as my car is not on the classification guide, so I figured I'd check out Comp before looking at the .90s classes. I'm trying to figure out how to classify the combonation i'm putting together. Can someone help me out? What information do you need about the car?

Edit: I have looked in the NHRA Rule Book, but I'm confused.

type of car, type of chassis, and the engine combo would be a good place to start.

you may want to stick to the .90 classes, comp is a high tech big buck class. most cars are tube chassis , with small c.i. engines . lightweight combos . sounds like yours may be better suited for one of the .90 classes.
