WOW is this another incident?

Statement of Action Against Participant

The NHRA disqualified Ryan Rudrick from the Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series event at Route 66 Raceway for refusing teardown. In addition to being disqualified from the event, Ryan has been suspended from competition. Refusing teardown violates Section 1, page 10, 1.6.2 Technical Inspection of the 2019 NHRA Rulebook. This action is appealable per the 2019 NHRA Rulebook.

Good lord man....welcome to the party.

I wish they would define the length of the suspension but I presume it will be a full year.

LOL!

Dan, THIS entire thread was dedicated to the incident you mention.

The OTHER thread was entirely about the Corvette that went 1.20 under. 2 incidents last weekend, each with their own thread.

That was the whole point of the protest. At the Allstars he tore down and passed but only ran like .10 under the index, every other race he was .70 or more under. Assuming he didn't tear down at the protest because it wasn't legal

.........That’s a pretty good assessment Mr. Harrington.... One racer went to the Rudrick’s before the protest was filed and suggested they load up to save embarrassment. Evidently, that fell on DEAF ears.....
