ronnie i just want to say thank you for putting a picture of your dad's chevy2 in the blue and white paint scheme,you made my year,that was the greatest looking paint scheme and chevy2 i had ever seen and loved it. bob in ronnie's album is a picture of his dad's ss/k chevy2 from the late 80's between the mike cates chevy2 and ronnies dad's car i don't know which one was cooler.i remember going to edgewater's(cincinnati) division 3 point's meet and there was ronnie smith's ,noel davis,danny coffman and robin brown's all there together it was the coolest gathering to watch.

Sorry for the delayed response, I have been off the air for a few days. Thanks for the positive comments. It is truly appreciated and it is another trip down memory lane. We had a lot of fun with that car. One of the best shots we have is shortly after buying the car from Scott Wilcox, we were at the Gators and Dad stood it on the bumper for first round (circa 1988 or 1989). Needless to say, he did not make it past that round. The good thing was no damage with the exception of a few scrape marks on the rear bumper. Kudos to Steve McCreary for the awesome paint work on the Chevy II. I imagine Bob Rice might have a copy of the picture at the Gators. He has about every picture ever taken of a Chevy II (LOL). Not sure where the 8x10 is, Dad may have it, I have a 24x30 print hanging in the basement. Ronnie, Jr. |
