Default WAR FISH fire rescue

So I learned not to start the car this morning, after post race tech, without hooking the gas line back up.
Super Street was in the lanes, and 2 fire extinguishers showed up from out of nowhere.
If anyone knows who they were, I would like to thank the ones who gave them to us.
Damage was limited to carpet, smoke, and 2 wires so far. We have the engine out so I can get it cleaned up and inspected, and the car is stripped and on the hoist sitting on jackstands. The hood needs a little TLC so hopfully my body man can get it fixed before the dutch.
Anyways, I dont know too many people in S/ST so if someone could pass the word I would apreciate it.
Thanks
CW

Charlie glad damage was lite.
A brother (sister) racer to the help , of a brother racer , class, type of car doesn't matter in cases like this. A racer saw the need for help , and was there.

ps you might want to post in the .90 section

Charlie,

I normally don't write on this forum much, but I'm glad you gave an update. We actually supplied you with the large extinguisher. We just pulled into our pit spot and I saw your car on fire. We carry one in the back of the truck and one in our trailer. I grabbed the one from the truck, ran, jumped the fence and handed it off to you. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Thank God you got it under control, it could have been a lot worse. We never would have had that extinguisher if it wasn't for Jim Zaskowski, who gave us two this year at Stanton. My Dad just happened to keep it with us since then. I know you probably don't know us, but we have the SS/NA Cutlass.

It's also a reminder to the rest of us to upgrade our fire extinguishers in
our tow vehicle, our trailer and one mounted in the car.

I have a couple in the garage, but not in the two vehicle, car or trailer,
but that will change.

In order to measure the carb during a post race inspection.
