Default dragster paint and coating

are you aloud to paint a dragster chassis with a hammered paint,or hammered powdercoat ? i know you cant chrome but i am not sure about the hammered....thanks

Sure. The problem with chrome is that it etches into the metal and can (sometimes) weaken it. There were some accidents that were traced to weakened cages that were chromed, so it was banned on cages. Probably 80% of the dragsters you see out there are powder coated (my back of the napkin guess). Ours are.
