TransAm Racing Australian Style
Found this impressive TransAm race from Australia
Late 60's early 70 Camero's, Mustang's, Cuda, AMC, even a Caliente and of course their Holdens most are vintage but see later model Mustangs This is some serious racing D |

Re: TransAm Racing Australian Style
that event ifirc was a combination of Aus touring car masters and New Zealand trans am . Both have noticeably different rules though externally similar . The class here , Aus , enjoys good support on both sides of the fence . Though there is some concern with the addition of early 80's era touring cars models . The cars under the skin are quite upgraded from where the class started , I think it was grp3 NC a historic type class kind of like stock/superstock but circuit racing . Usual story for any racing I guess , money overcomes .
It is more enjoyable to watch than V8 Supercars , and more the cars I grew up watching . Dan , Bathurst is the holy grail of race tracks here in Aus . You should google some the races and crashes from late sixties early 70s . It was real narrow and not much run off then Tex Last edited by Tex013; 02-26-2020 at 05:05 PM. |
