Aw,,come on Phil,,,just sneak away, very quietly. We won't tell anyone. Bring the slow car and the fast car,,that'll shake up the troops!

Re: Memorial Footbrake Race
Sorry I didn't get back here right away, fellas.
Final round was Jack Ward and his '67 Firebird over Al Young and his '68 Plymouth. Turnout was lighter than hoped,,I'm thinking 30-32 cars. Payout ended being over $2800.00 to Jack and over $1200.00 to Al and $250.00 to the semi-finalists. Hope is that this event will get bigger and better in the future. Danny Durham |

Re: Memorial Footbrake Race
Yup, it's too bad it was the Mission Nat Open weekend. I was tempted to try to make it up for Mission on Sunday, but broke the car in Bremerton anyway. Either way it was a pretty decent payout for the entry fee!!! I jumped in my tow rig at the last minute and donated my entry fee and a buyback!
