Default NHRA Approved Component List

What is the process and/or requirement for a component supplier to get on the NHRA approved component list for stock/superstock usage?

Is it price? Quality? Does a supplier have to buy their way in?

Normally they have to submit part for approval,so they can check,ie piston they verify that it meets blueprint specs, rod the same meets blueprint specs, weight etc.
As far as I know that is all that is required, should be able to get in touch nhra tech for exact info.
