Is it that it'd be fun to watch, or do you think she can't do it? Grace has been racing a big car for about 6 years now, and I'd think her dad has shown her a few things about engines.

I've got no doubt that Grace can turn some wrenches, however reassembling a CJ motor would be a challenge for a lot of people on this board who have never worked on a modular ford.

She won't need to put it back together. Ford racing probably has new engines there in crates ready to go in the cars.
Let me get this straight: Engine "A" which powered the car in qualifying gets torn down.
Engine "B" comes to Indy in a CRATE, and is to be used to replace engine "A" after engine "A" supposedly passes muster in the teardown barn???

I don't think so...

Who determines the legality of engine "B"???????????

Judy was and still is a GREAT driver. I was fortunate enough with Judy coming out 22 years retirement and hitting an .067 RT with her 1st pass in my truck and she just kept hitting the tree better thereafter. She's a driver for sure.......Afterall, She busted Big Daddy's ball's at Bandimere a couple year's later.

I never saw her working on anything, I thought Dennis did all the work.

I did'nt see her touch the car, she did her job of standing there and lookin good though! Now, I did'nt see Edmond do anything either on his entry with the #1 on the window. Now Mr. Bill Hawk had everyone around with a wrench on the Shelby B/SA Winner that tested OK. Bill likes it like that, he can blame others for any situation....(You did'nt get that header bolt right....that's why I was red by .007) LOL. Just kiddin with ya Bill...you guys did a great job this week!
