Default range day

Got a chance to go to the outdoor range again.I think I'm creeping up on these military surplus rifles.
Took my Russian 1924 Mosin Nagant ex dragoon model and my 1941 German Sauer and Sohn WWII 8mm mauser.
Granted the first two targets were only 50 yds but I used the iron sights,my 67 year old worn out eyes and old milsurp corrosive ammo.
The third target was the mauser with 1953 dated ammo.

Target #1 Mosin Nagant 50 yds
#2 Mauser 50 yds
#3 Mauser 100 yds

I'll be shooting 100 yd high power matches. That's iron sights and 3 positions, standing.
sitting/kneeling and prone positions. The targets shown were shot from a bench rest.My next step is practicing unsupported.

Nice job Bill.I have a minty K-31 I'm looking to trade for a Spanish FR-8,no takers yet though.Just got a 1943 dated Turk in suprisingly nice condition. They mostly all have led hard lives.
