The 441 casting ( 350-255 hp ) is your choice..I run a jerico trans but i guess a lite weight T-350 would work..Luke SS 311

Get that 305 that is for sale on this website. The 441 heads are just waiting to crack, leak or both.

forgive me....the motor for sale was a stocker motor......but I still can't vote for the 441 head. Go the low hp 327 route with the 4gc....better yet.....trade it for a stocker.

Rusty, they all leak and break it all depend on who did the heads and how. the only choice he has on a 350 with a q-jet and a P/G is the 441 head. unless he goes and claim later years 350 as in late 70's or early 80's then he can use another head casting..Luke SS 311

I would go with the 71 487 head combo if you have to run a 350. GT Hp is 290.

If you want to get away from the older heads use the 1980 350 190 hp - 298 NHRA with the 450 and 624 heads. The port spec for the 450 head is pretty nice.. 450 = 168 60
