Does is have onstar? I had a 05 Tahoe and a 06 Cadillac Escalade that the onstar would drain the battery overnight. Pull the onstar fuse and see if it stops the drain.

No Onstar but, my dash cluster has the tach and temp not working, this seems to be a common problem where dash cluster goes crazy. I am pulling it out and ordered a refurbished one. I had a Ford F350 and the gas gauge would drop, then the drivers window would not work and some other weird stuff. Sent cluster in to be redone and reinstalled problem solved.

Yes have narrowed down to dash cluster, thanks to everyone that responded. Richard when I called Jason he stated that he could not repair it but I appreciate you response.

I disabled the under hood courtesy light to stop my discharge issues.

That must explains the battery drain on uncle's new Tahoe project. We'll check the Onstar after it returns from the installation of the new set of tires from 4Wheelonline plus the alignment.
