The series that consists of Super Comp, Gas & Street will have an action packed weekend to kick off the year. On Saturday, Gates will open at 8am (weather permitting) for Race #1. You may also leave your rigs at the track for the following weekends PC Richards & Sons NHRA Nationals Open on May 3rd to the 5th. So since VMP is now in October this race will be a great warm-up race to kick the season off. We also will have some -additional contingency news in the next few weeks to release.

Re: Mid Atlantic .90 Season Opener @ Atco - April 27-28th
Rotation for Saturday April 27th
9am: Junior Dragsters will run Qualifier #1 & 2 along with 1st round before any big cars hit the track. 10:30ish: Olds, Buick Pontiac (About 20-25 Cars) for Q1 following them will be Q1 of the .90 classes. Rotation will be as follows - Super Street, Super Gas & Super Comp. we will then repeat with R2 of Juniors and Q2 of Olds, Buick, Pontiac and .90’s R1 should start at or about 1pm. We have a lot to get through that day so once the sheets get posted with 1st round pairings, find that person (I can point them out of you don’t know who they are), settle up Lane choice so when we call you, it’s an easy pairing in the lanes. Atco can get bottlenecked at the top of the lanes so if you don’t want to be first pull all the way to the front and tell your opponent that. This will make it easy on all of us to get the day done at an early time and give time for those of you who want to jump into the bracket race later that evening. Sunday will also start at 9am with Nostalgia, Chevy vs Ford, Motorcycle and then the .90 cars. Weather right now for Sunday is calling for late afternoon showers. We will monitor it as the week progresses but, it maybe a 1 Time Shot and into elimination. I wanted to give everyone a heads-up of the plan if the weather forecast stays the same. |
