Live from Galot Motorsports park
Sorry for the complete lack of reporting but we ran the TnT yesterday and theirs only so much time in the day to get it done. Well other than a steady 5-10mph head wind yesterday was a nice day sunny and in the 70s. The track worked well all day the only trouble binging they had a hard time getting our tree set correctly (but they corrected that). My 1st pass I ran flat out (still trying to see what this new engine will go) and it ran a pretty good (1/8mile number). What got me was the 60ft number (if it was right). 1.24 was pretty stout for my car and the car sure gave me a oh Sh%$ moment carrying the wheel higher then I've been(yea it was fun) but enough of that back on the stop we went. I got a couple problems corrected and made a couple more, but we got all that corrected and I think we're ready to race. Oh, as you know we had problems with the RV in Gainesville. Well the coach is running great but on the way here from Myrtle Beach we had a blow out on the trailer (naturally it was the drivers side) so I got the opportunity to change the tire with traffic buzzing by at 70+mhp 3ft from me(what fun). Life on the road its not for everyone. Today we get 2 time runs and 1st round I'm hoping for better results here. We went out to dinner last night at Gregory Vineyards with our friends Doug and Eva and it was as good as ever(good food and good friends life is good). More later

Hi Robbie & Teresa,
1.24 is a stout number! Facility looks top notch. Thanks for pics and stories, please keep posting when possible. Good Luck!

Re: Live from Galot Motorsports park
Thanks Rick see ya at VMP. Well yesterdays time runs where interesting. I though I was getting dialed in and my last run throws me a curve. The cars running great but its not predictable so I changed my throttle stop timer. I hope that takes care of it. The car counts here are very good compared to years pasted. I'm not sure of the numbers but I'll check the run sheet to see. If you get the opportunity you need to come here to race this is a great race track (electric hook ups $25per day).

Re: Live from Galot Motorsports park
Well my Galot race is over. On a good note the car ran the number, but you can't give Matt Weston .037 on the tree and get away with it. So it's a short visit with relatives and we'll leave Wednesday for VMP. Now I can be the cheer leader for my buds that are still in. See ya at VMP.

Re: Live from Galot Motorsports park
Robbie,
Have been swamped at work and had a wedding last Saturday and no reception but, great work on the reporting from Galot. I'm surprised we didn't have more responses like in G-Ville but, I guess everyone is busy in the Garage getting ready for some racing the next few weeks. Rob |
