Jim got his original Z/28 back a few years ago and has been turning it back into a street, S/SS car. He began racing pretty much as soon as he bought it. Sold it in 79 to build the Opel. The title is still in his name as it has been a race car its whole life. 27K on the odometer.

Old car photos from owner #2,the motor and slicks at my work, picture of her at home(yes that the gremlin in the back), and its born on date and dealer sold at info......Chevy stuff can be quite fun for the #'s and history. A sharp eye on the old photos, will see the same altered original valve covers on the motor now.

I'm not sure how many cars that have been race cars for over 1/2 a century still have their born with motors at hand, i'd wager not too many.

WoW thats awesome Eric that you have that, I wish i had kept some of my cars but I always wanted something else. But like you i do have pics and its fun to go back and look at them once in a while. Love your cars especially you truck and my wife and I are great fans of the Dachshund dogs.
