Default Stock class racing seats

I was just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on the Jaz Polyethylene racing seats? Also do you think are the Summit/Jegs brand the same as the Jaz brand?
Thanks Jerry

You would be better off in the long run with an aluminum seat. The plastic seats have molded-in threads that can pull-out over time. A friend has one of those in a bracket car and after two years, the threads are already starting to pull-out of the seat, and he's not a real heavy fellow either. My .02.

poly seats belong in dune buggies ( or Phillip's car). As much as I disliked being required to run seats that in some cases are over 50 years old, installing a plastic one with molded in "inserts" seems even worse. There Phillip, are you happy now. Wasn't even going to reply till i read your reply.

Mine have through bolts. I can't imagine anybody trusting threaded bolt holes I. Their seats, no matter what they are made of.

I think I have the summit seats. I have the driver side thru bolted to the floor and cage. Nice comfortable seat. Light weight too.
