Default AZ Stk/SS combo results from Wild Horse Pass

We had 20 cars show up on Saturday at Wild Horse Pass for United Engine and Machine AZ Stk/SS Race 4 presented by AZ Differential Specialists.

Gregg Luneack was #1 qualifier with a .004. He got a Gold Shine Kit and California Car Duster from California Car Cover and $100 from Alien Racing Engines for his efforts

Best Losing Package Awards:
Rd 1: Jeff Stout - Gold Shine Kit and California Car Duster from California Car Cover
Rd 2: Mike Graham - Lucas Oil Product

Jeff Stout was randomly selected as the bullseye for this event since the winner from last race was not here. He was defeated in round 1 by Gary Hampton so Gary took home $50 for taking out Jeff.

Savannah Kidd won the race over Angelo Phillips. Savannah took home $1,000 a $300 gift certificate to Total Seal and a custom California Car Cover for her win. Angelo took home $500 and a $100 gift certificate to Meziere Enterprises for his runner up.

Huge thanks to all the racers who came out in the heat for this race. Good luck to everyone at the double divisional in a couple weeks.

The payouts were great for the money to enter. 20 cars was a decent car count. I hope more show up. Event is run properly by Matt and it makes for an easy day. Long time to run event was due to track policy of 1 class at a time in staging. That makes for long day.

There appeared to be a lot of oil-downs too, I heard a lot of quiet spells that weren't between classes. They did do a little overlap in staging, but not much. I wish we had staging lanes like at Las Vegas.

But it was a great race, congrats to the Hawks for putting such a great organization together, to Angelo for his runner-up and especially to Savannah for the win, which included her .001 package in round three against me.

The Hawk Bros run a really good program, there races are a lot of fun
with great prizes and good payouts. For those of you that think NHRA is the only way to race, think again. You need to support these races. You complain about NHRA, but
when given an alternative you dont show up.These type of races may be our future
so it is really important to support them.I also want to mention that the track prep
was excellent, they did a lot of spraying and dragging the track. Everyone that I
talked to had a real good time and was happy to be racing.
