News and Notes 7/25

It is off to New England Dragway for our next 2 races and the cookout this coming weekend July 31st and Aug 1st. 2 Races, one Sat and one Sunday.

Cookout is Sat after the race, we plan on using the tracks Pavilion. As usual, ASRA will provide the burgers,dogs,soda etc and you may bring your favorite side dish or dessert.
A word on beverages, Alcohol is not allowed inside the track at N.E.D. Obviously that is not usually enforced heavily except by the roving police officer that may be cruising the area.So be reserved and cover your beer with an insulated wrapper (cozy?) And we can keep the beer coolers out of sight.

We may need and extra Grill, so if you can bring one, let me know and I should know our needs by thursday.

The rained out race is the following sunday August 8th at Lebanon.

We have had a couple of outstanding events so far this season, 60 cars at the first and 63 at the second . My guess is that Greg Gay may be leading the points, as he was r/u at the first race and semis i believe at the second race. Looking forward to seeing everyone this weekend.
