Bad to the bone Kevin Self 11 degree heads and matching intake. The engine will be a 420 SBC of about 920 horse.

Heads and intake are setting on plastic BBC - the alignment is slightly off Only one hole would align so a clamp kept it from falling off long enough to snap the photo.

My Son Jeff is just under the camera ready to catch any falling parts.

We are charting new ground [for me] with the usage of a Holley EFI system. The system has two throttle bodies, eight ignition coils, eight injectors, all the normal sensors, data recorder, and electronic dash display.

For me, the EFI lessons are welcome and I will document the learning.

With this buildup the EFI is the star. While the chassis, drive train, body and paint will all be outstanding, show casing the Holley EFI will be the main attraction.

While Monte worked with the Super 10 block I kept busy with the Roadster's rocker arm set up and pushrod length checking.

*Note the intake lifter and rocker offset

*Note the cylinder head height. The head is a Brodix 11 degree casting worked by Kevin Self. As I began checking the pushrod length I quickly realized this head is not a typical small block head, it is very tall. To establish the proper pushrod length required using a BBC exhaust length checking pushrod!
