US Nationals 1976-?
Ok I have raced there in Stock nearly every year since 1976. Messed up big time this year even with 10 grading points I had other things going on and was not paying attention. So put me on the list of needy racers wanting to get in Indy. Thanks for looking. lyn Smith 815 848 5020

Re: US Nationals 1976-?
Historically have they ever reduced the field size in one or more of the other classes to increase the quota for Stock or Superstock ?

Re: US Nationals 1976-?
There is precedence for them bumping our quotas up when other categories are lagging but that doesn?t seem to be the case this year. Comp and some others will enter later as is typical. Only hope is likely to be late drops after BG. Hope you make it in Lyn!
Lobbying your SRAC representative can’t hurt.

Re: US Nationals 1976-?
Since you are a former winner of the US Nationals, can't you get in?

Re: US Nationals 1976-?
No. It is my understanding that the only guaranteed spots are last years winner, and past world champions, and maybe passed division champs. Plus I have been told if you are a passed NHRA track manager you can enter a race that is passed the quota also. Maybe someone can clarify this. Seems a little strange but I do know of one passed track manager who has a Stocker he has raced at times.
